About the role
You won't just be designing concepts behind a screen. You'll lead the design, assembly, integration and testing of the actual hardware behind a new, more efficient way to recover ammonia. Your designs will be built, tested, challenged, improved - and put into the field.
What you'll do
- Drive design of next-generation Sorption Booster systems and absorber units, using data from previous prototypes
- Lead mechanical and process design: P&IDs, piping layouts, heat integration and subsystem development
- Own assembly, integration and troubleshooting of prototypes and experimental setups
- Select and procure components for prototype and pilot-scale systems
- Lead safety assessments and support field testing with partners and suppliers
What you bring
- MSc or BSc in mechanical, process or energy engineering, or a related field
- 2-5 years designing and building process or thermal equipment in R&D or industry
- 3D CAD experience (e.g. SolidWorks / Inventor) and hands-on workshop, piping and assembly skills
- Advantage: prototype/pilot-scale systems and safety-critical pressurised equipment (HAZOP, PED, ATEX)
What we offer
- Real ownership of core hardware at an early stage - your designs go into the field
- A close-knit team rooted in DTU's research environment, backed by advisors with industrial ammonia and hardware experience
- The chance to help shape an early-stage climate-tech company as it grows
- Competitive salary
About Ammisorb
